A government that works for ALL of us:

A Vision for District 65

My wife, Jamie (Lindley), and I have been married twenty-seven years and have two college-aged children, Lindley and Ruel.  I am a Lawrence County native (BNL '86), an attorney (IU School of Law, JD, '94) and a thirty-year educator and coach teaching at Orleans Jr./Sr. High School, Oolitic Middle School and now Bedford Middle School.

I am running for State Representative because things feel broken and I want to be a part of the solution.  People increasingly feel powerless and invisible and our elected leaders seem absent and unconcerned.  I am running as an Independent because I want to be a candidate for ALL of the citizens of our district.

Dedication is more than a word—it's a commitment to showing up. Whether it's at a town hall meeting or on your porch, I am here to listen and to lead with integrity. Together, we can ensure that District 65 remains a vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.

KEY PLATFORM PILLARS

A strategic vision for District 65 focused on progress, equality, and growth.

JOBS & AFFORDABILITY

Promoting local businesses and entrepreneurs, working to provide access to child care, housing, and utilities, with a focus on affordability.

EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Ensuring fair and equitable funding for our public schools and supporting vocational training programs to prepare our youth for the future.

HEALTHCARE CLOSE TO HOME

Keeping local hospitals open, fighting for affordable healthcare coverage, and expanding OB and mental health resources to support the well-being of every family.

RESPONSIVE LEADERSHIP

Showing up, listening, and responding to citizens.

PROTECTING HOMES & FARMS

Capping assessed property value increases so families and farmers are not taxed out of their homes.

Preserving quality of life

Standing up to AI data centers and Flock surveillance in our rural communities.

If you turn 18 before November 3rd, 2026, you can vote in the November election.
The deadline to register is October 5th, 2026.
I'm an Independent candidate. I will be on the ballot in November.
